Sod & Landscape Solutions is in need of a Branch Operations Manager with a solid landscape construction background. We are a growing multi-branch company with this position being located at our Ft Pierce, FL facility. To be considered, you must be able to manage our existing volume and tackle the challenges of future growth. The ability to communicate in Spanish and English is extremely helpful but not required.
To qualify you should be an experienced commercial landscaper with management and business acumen. You will oversee & coordinate all production activities for this branch as well as have proven experience building, developing and maintaining effective work teams. Position is also responsible for coordinating the procurement and scheduling of resources, including labor, equipment and materials to ensure maximum use and completion of work within budget, safety guidelines and quality standards.
• Manage productivity through efficient scheduling, equipment/supply usage, and by directly observing work in the field to identify efficiencies.
• Schedule and supervise production, delivery, and installation activities.
• Analyze job costs and keep in line with contract pricing.
• Coordinate crew assignments to complete projects.
• Analyze future needs, forecasting staff and material needs to complete future jobs.
• Staff development to include cross-training of staff and performance evaluations. Identify and develop Crew Leaders and Superintendents.
• Continuous development of industry and management knowledge.
REQUIREMENTS
Position requires 4-5 years Supervisory/Management experience in Landscaping or related discipline. Bachelor Degree in Construction Management or related field a plus. Microsoft Office proficiency required.
